2025-06-19 Map Finished Hello everyone, The map is "finished". Yay. We have made some changes this year for a couple of reasons... 1) To use the available shade that has not been used before 2) We have gained more of the park 3) We have a few new displays/people to fit in the park. As you look at the final map and schedule before it goes to print on Monday of next week, please look again for glaring issues or errors. Keep a few things in mind as you look.... •If it looks like a display has been placed in full sun on the map , please realize that is not the case. We have spent multiple days this week looking at shade areas in the mornings, mid mornings and afternoons/late afternoons. The map does not show where all the trees actually are. •The American camp kitchen, soldier tent area are all still the same. The military surgeon and citizen soldier areas (J Cornell and M Andersen) are still their "sameish places" but we have made a new walking path in a horseshoe shape in the north camp. It will make more sense in the real scheme, but we think it will work nicely. • Individual family camps (for overnight) will mostly be the same as well, with just some slight shifts to the north and west, as we have moved a bit farther north into the nice shade that has not been used before. Things are getting close. I will send out another more final email next week. In the meantime, it is HOT here in Orem. If you are a praying person, perhaps ask for tempering of the elements for all of the event to be a little cooler. And if you are not a praying person, please perhaps do so anyway... the guy above might really take notice. :) Kim PS Letters on the map schedule will be changed to correspond with the numbers on the map....
