It's scheduled each year to coincide with Independence Day. Living Historians come from throughout the country to create a colonial village complete with all the trades you might expect: a candle maker, a cooper, a printer, a woodworker, and many more. There is also a very sizable military presence including Militia, Continental Army, and British Army. Don't miss out on the opportunity to take afternoon tea with the likes of Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, or John Adams.
There is no charge for admission but after you have attended, we hope you will feel to donate to support this volunteer-run event. We recommend a donation of at least $5 per person or $20 per family.
In 2026, The Colonial Heritage Festival will be the nation's largest living-history, semiquincentennial celebration west of the original 13 colonies.
We invite you to celebrate with us.
